Tyler Street Christmas Musical Brings Holiday Cheer

The Tyler Street campus spread holiday joy with its annual Christmas musical, a beloved tradition made possible through the collaboration of Music Teacher Kathryn McKnight, Ms. Ayers, and Ms. Jones. The performance brought together students from the Orchestra Club, Theater Arts Club, and second grade, giving every participant a chance to shine on stage.

Students prepared through weeks of dedicated practice—Orchestra Club rehearsed after school Monday through Thursday, Theater Arts Club met on Wednesdays, and second graders worked on their songs during music class. Many students eagerly took on new challenges, from learning ensemble parts to auditioning for solos.

“The students at Tyler Street have been working very hard and are very excited to perform for their community,” said Kathryn McKnight, Music Teacher. “As the music teacher, I am so proud of the time and effort they have given to this opportunity. It’s going to be a great show!”

The musical was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, talent, and bravery, as students proudly performed for their friends, families, and the Tyler Street community.
