TBP Students Fuse Science and Culture in Black History Month Events

Students at TBP campuses in Bolt, Mesquite and Arlington commemorated Black History Month with a series of educational and celebratory events.​

At the Bolt campus, students combined scientific exploration with cultural appreciation by showcasing experiments during a science fair. The campus highlighted the event on social media, stating, "Bolt scholars are celebrating Black History Month with science! Our students showcased their incredible experiments while learning about the groundbreaking contributions of African American scientists." 

 

Down the street, the Pafford campus held their living wax museum as an outdoor activity. 
Meanwhile, the Arlington campus focused on creativity and historical reflection. Staff and students decorated classroom doors to honor significant African American figures. The campus shared on social media, "TBP Arlington is celebrating Black History Month by decorating classroom doors. PreK3 Mrs. Salgado and Ms. Curry won the decoration contest." 
The Mesquite campus focused on leadership and historical reflection. Staff and students decorated classroom doors to honor significant African American figures, blending creativity with education. Leaders at the campus shared inspiring messages, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the contributions of African American individuals throughout history. 
These activities reflect TBP's commitment to integrating cultural awareness with educational initiatives, fostering an environment where students can learn about and celebrate the rich history and achievements of various communities.
