A Night to Remember: TBP Titan Academy’s Homecoming Shines Bright

Trinity Basin Preparatory, Titan Academy made waves this past weekend with a homecoming celebration that will be talked about for years to come. For staff member Jennifer Gilmore and her husband, the night was nothing short of magical. “This was my first homecoming ever, and I have to say it was wonderful,” Gilmore shared, her excitement echoing the energy that filled the gymnasium.

From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was electric. The playlist kept spirits soaring, as students and staff alike hit the dance floor for an evening of nonstop fun. Dazzling lights lit up the room, adding to the festive mood and making every moment Instagram-worthy. The highlight of the night? Watching the homecoming court step into the spotlight, a memory Gilmore says she’ll cherish forever.

But the celebration didn’t end there. Howdy Week kicked off with a bang, drawing more participation than organizers ever expected. Students upped the ante with creative costumes, especially on “Anything But a Backpack Day,” hauling their books in everything from laundry baskets to pet carriers. “Tacky Tourist” day drew big laughs and even bigger school spirit, as students strutted through the halls in outrageous outfits.

“This week brought so much good energy and connection to campus,” remarked one TBP student. With such a strong showing of Titan pride, Trinity Basin Preparatory Titan Academy’s homecoming and Howdy Week have set a new standard for school spirit—and left everyone already counting down to next year.

Congratulations to our 2025 Homecoming Royalty! This year’s honors go to Queen Kimbly Mullens, King Leonardo Avila, Princess Kylie De Leon, and Prince Josh Shephard, each representing the spirit and pride of our school community.
