Trinity Basin Preparatory Kicks Off 2026–27 School Year with Annual Convocation

Trinity Basin Preparatory officially kicked off the 2026–27 school year by bringing employees together for the district’s annual Convocation, a celebration focused on connection, collaboration and the shared commitment to serving students across the district.

The event gave teachers, staff members and district leaders an opportunity to reconnect ahead of the first day of school, celebrate the work happening throughout Trinity Basin Preparatory and look forward to the opportunities a new school year will bring.

Throughout Convocation, members of Trinity Basin Preparatory leadership took the stage to share messages of encouragement, purpose and preparation for the year ahead. Speakers included President and CEO Randy Shaffer, Chief Academic Officer Kim Foster, Executive Director of Curriculum Dr. Adam Hile and additional district leaders.

The messages throughout the event centered on the important role every Trinity Basin Preparatory employee plays in creating an environment where students can learn, grow and succeed. From teachers and campus staff working directly with students each day to the teams supporting campuses throughout the district, Convocation highlighted the collective effort required to make a difference for every Titan.

The celebration also provided an opportunity to recognize the dedication and enthusiasm Trinity Basin Preparatory employees bring to their campuses and departments. Staff members entered the new year with renewed energy and a shared focus on supporting one another while continuing to provide students and families with an exceptional educational experience.

That sense of teamwork reflects Trinity Basin Preparatory’s mission “to inspire every student to do more, expect more, and be more.” As campuses prepare to welcome students back, the district is looking forward to another year of learning, achievement and opportunities for students to thrive.

Trinity Basin Preparatory is honored to have started the 2026–27 school year in such a positive and inspiring way and is excited to see what Titans across the district accomplish together in the months ahead.
