Technology at TBP

At Trinity Basin Preparatory, we believe technology is a powerful tool for learning, teaching, and creativity. From interactive classrooms to 1:1 student devices, our goal is to prepare students and teachers with the skills and tools they need for success.

Technology for Students

At TBP, every student participates in our 1:1 technology program, providing each student with a personal Chromebook to support learning. In grades K–4, devices remain in the classroom for daily lessons and activities. Students in grades 5 and up take their Chromebooks home to support learning outside of school.
Through our Keeper Program, students are rewarded for responsible technology use. Students beginning in 5th grade who follow district guidelines and care for their Chromebook can keep it at the end of 8th grade. High school students starting in 9th grade who do the same may keep their device when they graduate, fostering a sense of ownership and pride in their personal technology.

ClassLink Access

All students log in through ClassLink, a single sign-on platform that gives secure access to:

  • District-approved apps and learning resources

  • Cloud storage accounts like Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox

  • Files stored on the school network from any device

ClassLink simplifies login, eliminates the need to remember multiple passwords, and allows students to move seamlessly between platforms.

Students also benefit from technology intervention tools, which provide extra support for learning at their own pace. These tools help identify areas where a student may need additional practice and offer interactive ways to build skills and confidence.

Optional Device Insurance

Families also have the option to purchase device insurance coverage to protect against unexpected costs if a Chromebook is damaged, lost, or stolen. Insurance is available for just $20 per student per school year and covers incidents like glass breakage, theft, or other accidental damage.

Technology for Teachers

Interactive Classrooms
Every classroom features a Promethean Board to make lessons engaging and interactive. Teachers can use it to present content, collaborate with students, and integrate digital learning tools seamlessly.

Device Options
Teachers can select the technology that best supports their work, including a MacBook or iPad.

Support and Training
The Technology Department offers ongoing support, training, and resources. This ensures teachers can confidently use digital tools and create dynamic, technology-enhanced learning experiences.
