About the Student Handbook
The Trinity Basin Preparatory Student Handbook contains information students, parents, and staff will need to ensure a successful school year. Throughout the handbook, the term “parent” means natural parent, legal guardian, or other person standing in parental relation. The Handbook is designed to be in accordance with Board policy and the Student Code of Conduct adopted by the Board of Directors. Please be aware that this document is updated annually, while policy adoption and revision is an ongoing process.
Student Code of Conduct
The Student Code of Conduct is the school’s response to the requirements of Chapter 37 of the Texas Education Code. This Code provides methods and options for managing students in the classroom and on school grounds, for teaching students proper conduct, and for preventing and intervening in student discipline problems.
Student Dress Code and Uniforms
Trinity Basin Preparatory school uniforms teach students to dress smart and take pride in their appearance. Studies show that schools with uniform policies have higher rates in attendance and graduation, ultimately leading to academic success.
