Pre-Kindergarten Curriculum

Built on the Texas Education Agency's Prekindergarten Guidelines - and vertically aligned to Kindergarten TEKS.

Trinity Basin Preparatory Prekindergarten Curriculum is based on the Texas Education Agency’s Prekindergarten Guidelines and provides an instructional program that is vertically aligned with the Kindergarten Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills.


 

Areas Included

Oral language, alphabet recognition, and phonological awareness are emphasized in prekindergarten. Children learn to interact with others, monitor their own behavior, and express themselves through words, art, and music.

They build observation and thinking skills through math, science, and social studies, with iPads introduced as tools for learning. Students leave ready for kindergarten and in love with learning.
