Enrollment Timeline
Parents/guardians begin by completing an online application for each student seeking admission. A new application will be deemed complete when all required fields have been completed, the application has been signed, and the application has been submitted online.
If the number of students eligible for admission in a grade level who turned in applications is less than the number of openings in that grade level, all students who are eligible for admission for that grade level will be admitted. If not, the particular grade level will be subject to a lottery. The lottery, if any, shall be conducted within the next ten (10) business days following the application closing date.
After the lottery, an Enrollment Specialist will notify parents of students who are admitted to the school. The parent or guardian will have 1 week from the time of the first notification of admission to accept admission to the school. If the parent or guardian does not appropriately respond online or call the enrollment department to accept the offer of admission within 1 week, the student will be removed from the waitlist.
To be eligible for free Pre-K in Texas, students must meet one of the qualification criteria including, but not limited to, lack of English proficiency, income, etc. After notification of lottery results, these families will need to complete the language testing or income qualification steps before they complete the remaining registration packet materials.
A student who has been granted admission before July 1 must complete an enrollment packet online within 30 days of receipt. If the completed enrollment packet is not submitted online or returned within 30 days, the offer of admission may be rescinded.
The packet must be received and verified prior to the student being scheduled for their first day of school.
Campuses host various New Student Orientation Events where families can purchase uniforms, sign up for summer camp programs, and learn more about TBP programs and services available at their home campus.
Applicants for the tuition-free Pre-K program may be admitted to the school beginning July 1 if it is determined that Pre-K seats are still available at a campus and these seats would, in all likelihood, remain unfilled with eligible students during the school year.
